In the Rite of Baptism parents accept the responsibility of training children in the practice of the faith. It is their duty to bring them up to keep God’s commandments as Christ taught us by loving God and our neighbor.
The Holy Family is the perfect example of the Catholic/Christian life. By living our faith through our daily commitment to Jesus Christ, we share love for one another, and we become a witness for others of God’s love for his people. The staff at Our Lady of the Woods looks forward to serving your family as you answer this call to holiness.
Religious Formation Office Hours: Our offices have been relocated to the OLOW business offices. Call us by phone at 734-671-5101. Our office hours are the same as the parish business office hours. Also, the Religious Formation office will be open during the Religious Formation Programs.
Nursery: The Nursery is open during the 11:00 am Mass every Sunday (from Sept. to may) for children ages one through 3 yrs. of age. If you would like to take advantage of the Nursery during this time, please call the Religious Formation Office and make the necessary arrangements.
Library: Our Parish library is full of resources for the whole family. It is located in the Growth Center / Religious Formation Building, by the Adoration Chapel. You may access the library during normal business hours, through the Business Offices, or during the Religious Formation Programs.
VBS: We are happy to offer Vacation Bible School for children in the 1st gr. through Jr. High. This year we are going to “chill” out in the arctic. For further information see the registration form or contact the Religious Formation Office. VBS 2012 Flier
